Events

Adult Athletic Programs

Youth Athletic Programs

All Delta Township youth athletic programs are non-competitive in nature and promote fun and learning!

To register for any of the athletic programs, please fill out and mail in a registration form (pdf) or register online (coming soon).

View the heat cancellation policy for youth programs.

Background checks are performed on our volunteer coaches to help keep the children in our programs safe. Click here for details.

Volunteer Coaches Needed
All of these programs rely on the help of parents to volunteer as coaches. Parents may indicate on the registration form if they would be willing to coach (parents would only be assigned to their own child’s team). If a team does not have a coach, everyone on that team will receive a letter asking for help. Hopefully one or more parents will volunteer, or, unfortunately, the team will be dissolved and registration fees refunded. Coaches must pass a criminal background check.

Athletic Lessons

While many of our programs such as soccer are geared toward the learning process rather than competition, these programs for offer specific instructional lessons:

Noxious Weed Ordinance

The Noxious Weed Ordinance is in effect from April 15 through October 31 of each year.

Complaints are taken anonymously and inspected normally within a day or two. If the lot is determined to be in violation, a letter will be sent to the property owner. While there are many rules that determine if a lot is in violation, keep in mind that the grass must be at least 12" high on average across the lot and that the lot may not be over two acres in size. If you would like to make a complaint about a property please call 517.323.8555. Click here for details.
