Online Burial Records Search

You can now access all of Delta Township’s cemetery records online. Please visit http://delta.eaton.mi.govern.com/.  There you can search records by name and even submit genealogical information back to the township to be included in the official township records.

Township Cemeteries

Delta Township operates two cemeteries, Delta Center and Delta Hillside, located on St. Joe Highway east of Canal Road(7301 West St. Joe Highway), and on Delta River Drive east of Webster Street(6415 Delta River Drive), respectively. The two cemeteries are professionally maintained and operated by the Parks, Recreation and Cemeteries Department. If you are thinking of purchasing burial space, do yourself a favor and check our cemeteries and prices. You will find that we offer quality at a reasonable cost. All cemetery plots include the provision for perpetual care. Please feel free to contact us at 323-8555 for a printed copy of our Cemetery Rules Regulations or with any questions you may have. If you would like to find out what is available, 

please call us and set up an appointment with Cemetery Supervisor Pat Schieding. If you are ready to purchase and already know which plot number(s), you may go directly to the Clerk’s Office.

The Parks, Recreation and Cemeteries Department share management responsibilities with the Clerk’s Office. The Parks, Recreation and Cemeteries Department handle burials and ground maintenance, foundations, and the showing of plots for purchase, while the Clerk’s Office handles the official record keeping, deeds, purchases, transfers, and the like.
