Eaton County Sheriff’s Office S.C.R.A.M. Program
Turn Your Camera into the Latest Crime-Fighting Tool by registering it with the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office S.C.R.A.M. Program
The S.C.R.A.M. program encourages residents and businesses with security cameras to register them with the sheriff’s office. By registering your camera using the form below, you are helping our deputies solve crimes and catch criminals. The information you submit here is only accessible to staff in the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.
How it Works
The Community Security Camera Registry Program encourages residents and businesses with security cameras to register their cameras with the Sheriff’s Office. By registering your cameras, the Sheriff’s Office will know which residences and business have functioning cameras.
PLEASE NOTE: registering your cameras provides the Sheriff’s Office with the location of your cameras and does not allow the police department to view what your cameras are recording.
Benefits of Registering Your Cameras
- Helps fight crime indirectly with technology.
- Allows officers to immediately identify where private security cameras are located and positioned, saving valuable time.
- Help solve crimes and crime sprees.
- Can eliminate the innocent.
- Assist with runaway and missing person cases
