Due to the extenuating circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Delta Township has cancelled the 2020 Fireworks Celebration. We look forward to once again celebrating with all of you in 2021.
Delta Township’s Fireworks Display is held at Sharp Park on July 3 every year. Join thousands of other area residents for the Independence Day celebration!
Parking at Sharp Park is designated for fireworks sponsors. There are several large parking lots in the vicinity for spectators. You may bring your own picnic lunch, grill, or cooler. A permit is required for alcoholic beverages and one can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Department at no charge. The park also has playgrounds, tennis courts, a basketball court, a fishing pond, and more!
This event would not be possible without the support of local businesses. To express our gratitude, sponsors are extended Sponsor Appreciation Area passes. This pass (one pass per person) allows you access in a Reserved Area to enjoy the complimentary food and refreshments. This area will be open at 6 p.m. (food available from 6:30 until approximately 9 p.m.) Please make sure you arrive no later than 8 p.m. to take advantage of the evening’s activities. If you wish to have other beverages, including beer, you may bring your own cooler. For this event sponsors are not required to obtain an alcohol permit. Lawn chairs, blankets and mosquito repellent are highly recommended. Your best viewing of the show will be from the Sponsor Appreciation Area. The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 10 p.m. As a sponsor of the event, you will enjoy a special privilege of visiting the firing line for a 20-minute tour of the firing line by the pyrotechnicians from Night Magic Displays. Tours are scheduled from 6:30-8:45 p.m.
