Daddy Daughter Dance
Delta Township Parks and Recreation proudly presents the special event of the year. Dance to your favorite tunes in the elegant surroundings of the Crowne Plaza Lansing West. You will also enjoy refreshments, a corsage for the lady, photographs, and more, all in the splendor of the ballroom. The dance is open to all young ladies and the adult male of their choice.
Photos: A 5×7 photo will be taken at the dance and mailed directly to you. The photographers will begin taking pictures at approximately 5:30 p.m. If you have more than one child with you, you may choose to have one photo with each child or group photos..

No ticket for entry is necessary as a list of registered participants will be at the door. Please do not call the hotel except to make dinner reservations. Please note dinner is not included in the cost of the dance. Dinner reservations must be made by calling 391-1307. Payment for dinner must be made at the restaurant at the time of dinner.

Easter Bunny Meet and Greet
The Easter Bunny will be visiting Delta Township on Wednesday, March 21, from 6-7 p.m. for a meet and greet with local children. Parents don’t forget your camera and get a picture with the Easter Bunny. For questions or more information please call 323-8555. Kids Mud Run
It’s time for the kids to have fun and get dirty in their own mud run designed just for them! There will be a variety of obstacles on the course including a hay climb, over under wall, several mud pits, and more. One parent per registered runner will be allowed to run the course with their child. This run is JUST FOR FUN, no time will be kept. Please remember to bring a towel or plastic bag to use in the car to get home. There will be a shower set up to rinse off (cold water). For more information please call 323-8555. Join the Delta Township Parks and Recreation for a night of fun! Club benefits include: special events, blood pressure checks at the Lansing Mall Food Court on Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and information on activities/events in the community. The mall opens at 7 a.m. for the mall walkers’ convenience. There is no charge to become a member! To sign up to become a member, visit the Pacers Station located off the food court. Sweets & Treats with Santa
Santa Claus will be coming to Delta Township. Come to the Community Center for a visit with Santa, a Christmas craft for each child, a special gift for each child along with some yummy Christmas treats. Parents, make sure you bring your cameras to capture all the special moments. Please note that there is no meal provided at this event. There will be two separate sessions available. Touch a Truck Day
If you like trucks and cars then come on out for a great time. It’s time for the annual Touch a Truck Day where kids young and old can touch, honk, and climb on the many vehicles that will be on display. Examples of the vehicles that will be there are a fire truck, ambulance, backhoe, snow plow, dump truck, garbage truck and semi. Concessions will be available. If you have a truck or piece of equipment and would like to be included, please call 517.323.8555.

Trick or Treat Trail
Come walk the path around the pond at Sharp Park and see it as you never have before. The children will be able to “trick or treat” at the displays set up by local businesses and groups while candy supplies last. We encourage everyone to wear costumes.
