This year Delta township will be offering a 4-week Coed Baseball season that will begin the first week of July. Due to limitations from Covid-10, having a coed program this summer was the best option for Delta to provide an opportunity for both girls and boys. This COED Baseball program will play on Tuesday & Thursday nights at Mount Hope Park (7419 East Mt. Hope Highway). Please see the information below regarding the program and how to register. Additionally, all of Delta’s youth programs rely on volunteer coaches. If you would like to be a volunteer coach, please let our office know and indicate it on the registration form. For those who will volunteer coach, we thank you in advance!
Deadline: Thursday, June 25, 2020 (registrations will be accepted after deadline if space permits)
Age: 6-11 as of July 6, 2020
Dates: July 6, 2020 – July 30

Practice and Game Times
All game schedules will be emailed to parents and posted on Delta Township’s website by Thursday, July 2nd. After the registration deadline, participants will receive a call from their coach or the Parks & Recreation office with information regarding team details and practice information. If a jersey has been ordered, parents can pick them up in the office prior to the first practice. Jerseys will also be passed out to those who ordered one but have not received it yet. Practices and games will last approximately one hour. Both practice and game times are scheduled by Delta Township. Cancellations due to weather are determined by the office (if the weather later turns bad at the field the coaches will decide) and information will be placed on the recording by 4:30 p.m. at 323-8555. Practices are not made up, but up to two cancelled games will be rescheduled.
- Practices take place during the first week of the season (2 practices).
- Games take place during the remaining 3 weeks (6 games).
Children are separated by age and teams are formed by school when possible. Siblings will automatically be placed together if they are in the same age group. No guarantees on team assignments are made. After the deadline parents may call to find out if registrations are still being accepted in a particular age group. Late registrations will be placed on the team with the lowest number of players in order to fill that team’s roster. If an age group is full, a waiting list may be kept in case someone drops out.
