2024 Election Dates – Presidential Election Year
- Tuesday, May 7, 2024 – Special Election (Waverly Schools Bond Millage and Holt Schools Bond Proposal)
- Tuesday, August 6, 2024 – Primary Election
- Tuesday, November 5, 2024 – General Election
If a resident will be out of the community on any Election Day or need any information regarding an upcoming election, please contact the Township Clerk’s Office at 323-8500.
Early Voting:
With the passing of Proposal 2 “Promote the Vote” in the November 2022, General Election, Promoting the Vote will expand voting options for voters. Below is a list of a few things that will benefit voters from the passage of this proposal.
- Nine (9) days of early voting for State and Federal elections..
- State-funded postage for absentee applications and ballots.
- Allow voters a single registration for absentee ballots for all future elections.
- Military and Overseas voters’ ballots will be counted if the ballot is postmarked by Election Day and received by the election official within six (6) days after the election.

Early Voting Location:
Early Voting is available at the Delta Township Administration Building, Meeting Room A - 7710 W. Saginaw Highway, Lansing, MI 48917
Early voting precinct canvass will take place at 8:00 p.m. on May 7, 2024, at the Clerk’s Office located at 7710 W. Saginaw Hwy., Lansing, MI 48917.

NOTICE OF EARLY ABSENT VOTER BALLOT PROCESSING
Delta Township will conduct processing and tabulation of Absent Voter Ballots before Election Day (May 7, 2024) on the following days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, May 4, 2024 | 9 AM to 3 PM |
Sunday, May 5, 2024 | 9 AM to 3 PM |
Processing will take place at the Delta Township Administration Building located at 7710 W. Saginaw Hwy., Lansing, MI 48917 in the Engineering Map Room.
Up to two (2) Absent Voter Counting Boards will be used with up to nine (9) Election Inspectors.
