The Parks and Recreation Department will offer an eight-week instructional program this winter. It will stress fundamentals and fun.  Delta township will have the "Assist-U" program come several weeks throughout the season to run skill development drills for our teams during the "practice" portion of the hour.

Practices and Games
Practices and games will be held on Saturdays within a one-hour time block. Each day will have warm-ups and stretching for the first few minutes, then the next approximately 20-30 minutes will be drills, then a game. Ages 5-8 use an 8-foot 6-inch basket height and ages 9-10 use the regulation 10-foot. All ages use an intermediate-sized ball which is slightly smaller than regulation. Coaches are volunteer parents/friends/grandparents/community members.
