The Recreation Master Plan ultimately determines
the most effective and efficient methods of improving the
existing facilities and programs, as well as providing new
facilities and programs. While this plan assists the community
in determining its long-range goals and needs, it also qualifies
the community for recreation grants which are administered
through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Grants
Management Section. The 2006-2011 plan has been approved
by the DNR.
