In June 2004, the new restrooms between the shelter and
pavilion were installed.
In 2004, we received a grant from the Rails to Trails Conservancy
to install signage throughout the trails.
In October 2002 a new roof was put on the shelter.
In 1984 Grand Woods Park was leased by Delta Township from
the City of Lansing for a thirty year term. It occupies
128 acres on the Grand River in Section 1 and 2. The intentions
of this park space are to keep it a family-oriented facility.
A Note to Cross Country Groups: You MUST
schedule your meet with us before setting your date in stone.
We will not allow more than one meet in the park at the
same time. You may make reservations for meets beyond our
September 30 shelter deadline. Marking of any kind on trees
or rocks is not allowed. You may mark on the ground only.
Chalk or paint on the ground is okay.
