Ordinances & Licensing

The Clerk's Office is responsible for regulating several ordinances within Delta Township. Outlined below are regulations regarding those most frequently inquired about:

  • Coin-Operated Amusement Devices - game machines either mechanical or electrical, located within business establishments.
  • Amusements & Entertainments - any type of outdoor entertainments, such as: concerts, carnivals, parades, or exhibitions.
  • Vending -  anyone going from door to door, or operating from a fixed site which is not within a building is considered vending activity.

All fore-mentioned activities may require special licensing by the Township, and should be verified beforehand. If there are any questions regarding these or additional ventures not named here, please contact the Township Clerk's Office at 517.323.8500. There are no exemptions from the licensing process of any ordinance. Failure to obtain proper licensing is considered a civil infraction and will be treated accordingly.
