This year, Winter Reading @ the DTDL is a Battle of the Books! Over 20 teams of kids, teens, and adults have signed up. Please note: We have filled all of our team spots for this year, so we are no longer accepting new teams.

For participants:

• Keep reading the five Battle books! More copies of each title are now available to check out at the library. Head to the Youth or Adult Info Desks to get the books.
• Participate in team spirit nights and book discussions. The next team spirit night is Monday, Jan. 12 from 6-7:30 p.m. We’ll be assigning Semi-Final Battle dates and times and providing more details on the rules and format of the Battles.  Plus, bring along plain t-shirts for your team and use our craft supplies to create team uniforms!
• Check out our Hints & Tips page for help in preparing your team for Battle.

For non-participants:

• The Battles are open to the public! Come and cheer on the teams and watch the exciting trivia competition.
• The Semi-Final Battles take place on Feb. 5 & 6 from 5-7 p.m. There will be two Battles per night. The Finals will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 starting at 1 p.m. All Battles will take place in the Elmwood Room.

Looking for a pleasant spot to work on your knitting or crocheting project? Join us for crafts and conversation in the McLean Room.  All are welcome!  Please bring your own supplies.

Join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday for each month from 3 to 4 p.m.
