Delta Rocks! Family Festival – Saturday, June 25, 2016

Sharp Park, 1401 Elmwood Road – 12-6 p.m.

Directions: Saginaw Highway East to Elmwood Road, North on Elmwood Road, stay on Elmwood Road past the mall and Village Green Apartments and turn left into Sharp Park (1401 Elmwood Road).

Free Shuttle: There will be a free continuous shuttle from the Lansing Mall to Sharp Park. Noon to 6:30 p.m. Courtesy of Delta Township.

What is the Delta Rocks! Family Festival? The Delta Rocks! Family Festival features clowns, live animals, children’s make-it take-it craft booths, inflatable attractions, games, face painting, super sling shot, trackless train rides, petting zoo, business expo, concessions, and much more! Admission and parking are free as are the vast majority of the activities. Free continuous shuttle from the Lansing Mall to Sharp Park will run from noon to 6:30 p.m. courtesy of Delta Township.

We will have a FREE Friday night show to kick off the festival. The Joel Tacey Show will be held at the Sharp Park amphitheater at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 24. Come on out and see this fun show and have a chance to win cotton candy coupons, inflatable tickets, and more to use at the festival on Saturday!

Kids Bingo
Big Lug
– Meet Big Lug and pose for a picture.
Bubble Booth – Have fun making bubbles at the bubble booth.
Building Fun with PVC

Concessions – There will be lots of yummy food to enjoy including cotton candy, ice cream bars and sandwiches, pizza, popcorn, and hot dogs.
DJ – Jammin’ DJ’s will provide music and announcements throughout the day.
Dizzy Sports Battle  
Easel Painting – Come and paint a cool picture at the easels.
Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum – Children’s art activities.
Face Painting – Stop at the free face painting booth to get your face painted.
Fire Safety Trailer – Sponsored by the Delta Township Fire Department.
Game Area – sponsored by West Lansing Church of Christ.
Inflatables including a rock wall
Michigan Child Identification Program – Child Identification kits provided by the Wacousta Dewitt Masonic Lodge #359.
Mining for Gems

Ronald McDonald  Ronald will be at the festival at 1 p.m. to meet with the children and pose for pictures.
Sports Challenge – Race against the clock through the challenge course which includes a tire course, football throw and army crawl.

Fun Area
Tot Spot – Toddlers will love playing in the sand and water tables, trying out the instruments, building with the blocks and more.
Trackless Train – Take a ride on the free festival train.
Super Sling Shot – Shoot water balloons at a cool target using our 10 foot sling shot.
