The Charter Township of Delta is governed by a seven (7) member board. Our board members are elected every four years on the same cycle as the presidential elections. Our seven member board is made up of a Township Supervisor, Township Treasurer, Township Clerk and four Trustees. With the exception of the Township Clerk, all board positions are part-time.

Our Township Board meets to take action on agenda items the first and third Monday evenings of each month at 7 p.m. in the Meeting Room A of the Administration Hall.

The Township Board also meets the first through the fourth Monday evening of each month at 6 p.m. for a Work Session to discuss policies, upcoming issues, etc. No formal action is taken at a Work Session.

Agendas are prepared in advance and are available on the website or at the Clerk's Office in the Administration Building . Copies of minutes of these meetings are also available upon request from the Clerk's Office.

Delta Township
Government Youth Council

The Delta Township Board of Trustees has
established the Delta Township Government Youth
Council (DTGYC) to promote youth involvement in
local government through active participation and
the mutual exchange of ideas and experience.

There are seven (7) positions on the Youth Council.

Youth members serve for one-year terms with the
opportunity for reappointment. Terms run concurrent
with the school year: September 1 through

August 31.
