Calling all area Clubs and Organizations

Delta Township, in an effort to better assist area residents and individuals new to our community, needs your help.  The Township would like to make available a list of all local clubs or organizations along with their respective contact information.

If a participant or member of any local organization or club, for example the Delta-Waverly Garden Club, would kindly contact the Delta Township Clerk’s Office and provide the following information regarding the organization:

• The name of your club and/or organization;
• A contact name or leader;
• Telephone number;
• Mailing address;
• Email address and/or website

De-Leafing Program
This annual program gives residents the opportunity to recycle their yard waste, free of charge. De-leafing is generally in October and November. Delta residents must show two pieces of ID, such as a driver’s license and a Delta Township Voter I.D. card, property tax notice or water and sewer bill. For exact dates or more information, please contact the Clerk’s Office.

De-Junking Program
This annual program gives residents the opportunity to rid themselves of many unwanted items. Residents can also take their yard waste, free of charge. Volunteers of America will be on site to take any reusable items. De-junking generally takes place in May. Residents are required to obtain a voucher prior to going to the Recycling Center. Vouchers are issued at the Clerk’s Office, which is located in the Delta Township Administration Building. Two pieces of I.D. will be required to obtain a voucher: (1) a driver’s license and (2) a Delta Township Voter I.D. card, property tax notice or water and sewer bill. EATRAN Tokens
Tokens are available in the Clerk’s Office. This service is provided for residents who utilize the EATRAN transit system. The cost of the tokens is as follows: Elderly and Handicap; strip of 10 tokens - $9.00, Student; strip of 10 tokens - $18.00, and Adult; strip of 10 tokens - $18.00; and Downtown Express Medical; strip of 10 tokens - $27.00.   For more information call the Clerk’s Office.

Notary Public
Delta Township has several notary publics on staff for our residents. There are notaries in the Clerk’s Office, Planning Department, Engineering Department and Manager’s Office. If you are in need of a notary, call the Clerk’s Office for more information.

Street Lights
If you are interested in having streetlights installed in your area, please contact the DeltaTownship Clerk for more information.

To report a streetlight that needs repair, or is burned out, please notify the power company that serves the area. The two companies that serve Delta Township are:
