Ordinances & Licenses

The Delta Township Clerk’s Office is responsible for regulating several ordinances within the township. The most commonly inquired about are:

• Coin-Operated Amusement Devices: Coin-Operated Amusement Devices are game machines either mechanical or electrical, located within business establishments. Businesses located within Delta Township should contact the Clerk’s Office regarding licensure requirements for this type of equipment.
• Amusements & Entertainments: This license would be for any type of outdoor entertainment such as: concerts, carnivals, parades, or exhibitions.
• Vending: Vending activity is anyone going door-to-door, or operating from a fixed site, not within a building. Both types of vending activity require a license in Delta Township.

These activities are not allowed within Delta Township without the proper licensure, and are civil infractions if violated. There are no exemptions from the licensing process of these ordinances in Delta Township.
