Mission Statement
To acquire, develop, maintain and operate
parks, recreation areas and open space for the use and enjoyment
of all Delta Township residents and visitors along with
offering quality leisure time activities, at a reasonable
price, for the participation of all ages and interests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain existing park grounds and facilities.
- Acquire and develop lands for park use.
- Provide varied recreation programs for
all ages.
- Enforce the Park Ordinance.
- Plan for the future in both park area requirements
and recreation program needs.
- Enforce the Noxious Weed Ordinance.
- Maintain assigned Township grounds and
facilities.
