Township Fireworks

Delta Township's Fireworks Display is held at Sharp Park on July 3 every year, with a rain date of July 5. Join thousands of other area residents for the Independence Day celebration! A live concert will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the amphitheater.

Limited parking will be available at the park, and there are several large parking lots in the vicinity. A concession stand will be open for purchasing refreshments or you may bring your own picnic lunch, grill, or cooler. A permit is required for alcoholic beverages and one can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation Department at no charge. The park also has playgrounds, tennis courts, a basketball court, a recently-stocked fishing pond, and more!

This event would not be possible without the support of local businesses. To express our gratitude, sponsors are extended VIP/hospitality passes. This hospitality pass (one pass per person) allows you access in a Reserved Area to enjoy the complimentary food and refreshments. This area will be open at 6 p.m. (food available from 6:30 until approximately 9 p.m.) Please make sure you arrive no later than 8 p.m. to take advantage of the evening’s activities. If you wish to have other beverages, including beer, you may bring your own cooler. For this event sponsors are not required to obtain an alcohol permit. Lawn chairs, blankets and mosquito repellent are highly recommended. Your best viewing of the show will be from the Hospitality Area. The fireworks are scheduled to begin around 10 p.m. As a VIP for the event, sponsors will enjoy a special privilege of visiting the firing line for a 20-minute tour of the firing line by the pyrotechnicians from HoBo Fireworks. Tours are scheduled from 6:30-8:45 p.m.
