Registration/Team Formation
Children are separated by age and teams are formed by school when possible. No special requests will be honored except parents needing to coach together if their children are in the same age group. Siblings will automatically be placed together if they are in the same age group. No guarantees on team assignments are made. Registrations that are accepted after the deadline will be subject to a $10 late fee. After the deadline parents may call to find out if registrations are still being accepted in a particular age group. Late registrations will be placed on the team with the lowest number of players in order to fill that team’s roster. If an age group is full, a waiting list may be kept in case someone drops out.
Coach Meeting
Coaches will receive a packet with the team roster, schedules, certificates, rule book, and field locations map. They may also sign out a ball if needed, sign up for a practice time for the season, and take a Delta Township Coach shirt if desired. A reminder will be sent.

Which Program Should I Register For?
10-on-10 and 4-on-4 refers to how many children are playing on the field at a time; for example 4-on-4 plays with 3 field players and 1 goalie. We broadly group everything not 4-on-4 into one large group called 10-on-10. In actuality, your age group may play 7-on-7, 8-on-8, or 11-on-11 depending on field size. Which group you register for is totally personal preference based on field location or what team size you think is better for your child.
10 on 10
-
4 year olds (10v10) – Hayes Middle
-
5-6 year olds (10v10) – Hayes Middle
-
7 year olds (7v7) – Hayes Middle
-
8-10 year olds (8v8) – Delta Mills Park
These groups are subject to change depending on the number of kids we get in each group.
What we call 10 on 10 soccer is actually 7×7, 8×8, and 10×10 depending on the age group as shown above due to the different field sizes we have available for use. For a 10×10 group, you would have 9 field players plus 1 goalie on the field at one time. This is closer to standard soccer.
4 on 4
-
4 year olds – Waverly East Intermed
-
5 year olds – Waverly East Intermed
-
6 year olds – Waverly East Intermed
-
7-8 year olds – Waverly East Intermed

This micro soccer is played on a smaller field and will have 3 field players plus 1 goalie from each team on the field at one time.
