An adult, 18 years of age or over, must remain in attendance during swim lessons and open swims with no more than five youth swimmers under their supervision.
All patrons must observe the NO SHOES rule in the shower rooms and on the pool deck. Please shower before pool use to remove dirt, lotions, perfumes, hair products, etc. Infants must wear a swim diaper plus rubber pants (not a regular diaper) in the pool. Please remember, no opposite sex children older than five years may be in the locker rooms.

Pool Rental
Great for birthday parties, scout troops, youth groups, scuba classes, and more! $55/hour, two hour minimum, includes one and a half hours of pool time (30 minutes locker room time). Separate party space off the pool deck may be available. Call the office at 484-5600 for more information.

No substitutions of registered participants.Where to Register In Person For youth and adult enrichment classes, special events, and athletics, at the Delta Township Parks and Recreation Office located at 7710 West Saginaw Highway between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, checks (payable to Delta Township), money orders, and cash are accepted. Credit cards must be used when registering online or by phone.Class Cancellations If a program is completely cancelled prior to the start of the class (for example due to an instructor date conflict or low enrollment), registrants will be notified and full refunds will be issued. When individual program or class dates are cancelled due to the weather, a message will be placed on the program information phone line (484-9322 for aquatics and seniors; 323-8550 for youth and adult enrichment classes, special events, and athletics). Every attempt will be made to reschedule weather cancellations for a later date.In the event that Waverly school district is closed for severe weather, all pool and senior lunch programs are also cancelled. Information on possible closings can be obtained by calling 484-9322. Make-ups for missed swim lessons will only be given due to Waverly pool closings.Registration Exceptions Programs are designed according to instructor/student ratios and on an age or level that will benefit the student. Children must be within the specified class age group by the first class meeting. All adult classes are open to those who have reached the age of 18 prior to the first class meeting unless otherwise specified in the description. Please do not ask us to exceed the class limits or place a child in the wrong age or skill level. Let us place you on the waiting list so we may attempt to create an additional class.We Love Parents, But… Our instructors have found that quality instruction is affected by parent and sibling distractions during class time. We feel it is extremely beneficial for children to have recreational time with their peers. Our instructors are always happy to discuss your child’s progress with you. |
