The Accounting/Treasurer’s Department is responsible for the preparation of utility bills and receipting payments, preparation of payrolls and related payments, processing vendor and/or supplier claims for payment, mailing and receipting property taxes, as well as the distribution of those taxes to the proper taxing authorities. In addition, this department is also responsible for the investments to generate interest revenue, recording of financial transactions, preparing for and assisting in the annual audits, preparation of the annual budget, and providing financial analysis and conducting financial research for the Township Manager and the Township Board.

by calling the office or stopping in during regular business hours: Mon – Fri 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Payment drop boxes are located at the east entrance and north drive.
Current UTILITY BILL balances and related property information are available online through Public Records Display.

+Electronic ACH for taxes must be submitted 10 days prior to the due date selected. A new one must be filled out each tax year.

Dog Licenses

Dog Licenses will be available in the Treasurer’s Office beginning December 1, 2009.

The cost of a dog license for a male or female is $15. The cost for a spayed or neutered dog license is $10.

A current rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spaying or neutering is required.

Dog licenses are also available at the Eaton County Treasurer’s Office and Eaton County Animal Control Office.
