Yard Waste & De-Leafing – Delta Township Residents Only!
Yard waste containers are removed from the Recycling Center during winter months of December through March as yard waste is not accepted during this time. Yard waste is accepted at the Recycling Center from April through November for Delta Township residents only.
Yard waste accepted at the recycling center during months of April – November include such items as leaves, grass clippings, brush, twigs and branches. Branches must be shorter than 4’ in length, and smaller than 4” in diameter. Yard waste may be transported in paper bags, cardboard boxes, plastic tubs, or may be bundled. With the exception of paper yard waste bags, containers are to be dumped. Delta residents must show two pieces of ID, such as a driver’s license and a Delta Township Voter ID card, property tax notice or water and sewer bill. There is a charge for this service that depends on the amount of yard waste to be disposed of.
2010 Rates:
$1.00 per 30 – gallon paper bag or $7.00 per cubic yard.

This annual program gives township residents the opportunity to recycle yard waste free of charge! Remember, this service runs on Wednesday and Saturday only during the weeks of operation. Residents must show two pieces of identification such as a driver’s license, voter ID card, property tax notice or water and sewer bill.
