Directions:
Saginaw Highway East to Elmwood Road, North on Elmwood Road, stay on Elmwood Road past the mall and Village Green Apartments and turn left into Sharp Park (1401 Elmwood Road).
Free Shuttle
There will be a free continuous shuttle from the Lansing Mall to Sharp Park. Noon to 7 p.m. Courtesy of Delta Township.
What is the Delta Rocks! Family Festival?
The Delta Rocks! Family Festival features clowns, live animals, children’s make-it take-it craft booths, inflatable attractions, pony rides, games, face painting, super sling shot, trackless train rides, petting zoo, business expo, concessions, and much more! Admission and parking are free as are the vast majority of the activities. Free continuous shuttle from the Lansing Mall to Sharp Park will run from noon to 7 p.m. courtesy of Delta Township.
2010 Activities/Events (subject to change)
Big Lug – Meet Big Lug and pose for a picture.
Bubble Booth- Have fun making bubbles at the bubble booth.
Business Expo- Stroll through the Business Expo tent to see what our local businesses have to offer. If your business is interested in being in the Expo, please click here to get an application.
Caricatures- Pose for your own personally drawn caricature.
Chalk Art- Draw a design on the pavement with brightly colored chalk.
Children’s Make-it-Take-it Craft Booths
Decorate a pair of wacky science glasses
String beads to make a bracelet
Design and color a button to wear
Fill a sun pennant with a design of colored sugar �
Clowns- Shananigans & Nifty the Clowns will be roaming throughout the festival making balloon animals.
Concessions- There will be lots of yummy food to enjoy including cotton candy, elephant ears, ice cream, freshly squeezed lemonade, hot dogs, and corn dogs
Carnival Game Area- Win a prize at the Fish Bowl Ping Pong Toss, the Teddy Bear Hula Hoop Throw and more.
DJ- Jammin’ DJ’s will provide music and announcements throughout the day.
Face Painting- Stop at the free face painting booth to get your face painted.

Michigan Child Identification Program- Child Identification kits provided by the Wacousta Dewitt Masonic Lodge #359.
Model Airplanes- Lansing Area Flying Aces will be demonstrating throughout the day.
Non-profit Area- Visit booths set up by local non-profits and learn more about them. If you are interested in being a part of the non-profit area, please click here to get an application.
Ooey Gooey Art Yard- Lots of fun art activities including easel painting, hand prints, and tie-dye.
Petting Zoo- Lots of animals for you to hold and pet.
Photographs- Hoffman Photography will be taking special Delta Rocks! photographs.
Pony Rides- Enjoy a ride on one of the ponies.
Soccer Fest- Have fun with soccer. Join in any time.
Sports Challenge – Race against the clock through the challenge course which includes a tire course, football throw and army crawl.
Tot Spot- Toddlers will love playing in the sand and water tables, trying out the instruments, building with the blocks and more.
Trackless Train- Take a ride on the free festival train
Pig Pen Community Art Project- Visit the Pig Pen and vote for the most colorful and the most unusual pig on display
Turtle Racers Races- Hop on a turtle racer and see how fast you can go.
Super Sling Shot- Shoot water balloons at a clown target using our 10 foot sling shot.
Treasure Chest- Spin the wheel to see how many keys you will receive. Try the keys in the lock to open the chest. If the key opens the lock, choose a prize from the treasure chest
